Air intake hose between tb and air cleaner
In your air box at the filter side
The mass air flow sensor is located directly in the engine compartment. The MAF measures the temperature of the air and the amount of air entering the engine.
The IAT Sensor is attached to the Mass Air Flow Sensor that is attached to your air filter box.
On a 1999 Ford Expedition : The Mass Air Flow sensor is between the engine air filter and the large diameter engine air intake tube ( it is INSIDE a round shaped plastic housing )
On a 1997 Ford Expedition : The Mass Air Flow sensor is between the engine air filter and the big engine air intake tube ( it is INSIDE the round plastic housing but you will see where the wires go in )
this is NOT the mass air flow sensor but this is a 20 second fix, it is located on the tube between the air filter box and engine on the firewall side of the tube
located in the front right side conected to the air filter...
right next to Air filter box.
On a 1999 Ford Expedition : The Mass Air Flow Sensor is located INSIDE the round shaped plastic housing , between the engine air filter housing and the engine air intake tube
The mass air flow sensor (MAF) is located on the driver's side of the engine near the battery. It is mounted into the top of the plastic intake tube.
On a 2003 Ford Expedition : The Mass Air Flow Sensor is between the engine air filter and the big engine air intake tube . If it's the same as on my Ford Explorer it is INSIDE a circular shaped plastic housing ( you can see where the wires enter the housing )
on my 1995 Explorer 4.0 OHV, the mass airflow sensor is located between the plastic housing for my air filter and the rubber air tube going to the throttle body of the engine
