The first oxygen sensor is on the exhaust tube after the manifold but before the catalytic converter and can be easily removed with an inexpensive O2 sensor removal socket that you can pick up at the parts store when you buy the sensor. The tool is recommended because it has a slot cut in the side for the wires so you wont destroy them or the connector.
