on the v6 there are 4. bank one and bank two are the o2 sensors on your exhaust manifolds with bank one being the driver side. there is also one before and one after the catalytic converter
Assuming this is a 4.3L engine, bank 2 sensor 1 would be the first O2 sensor located in the exhaust header pipe on the passenger side of the engine.
on the passenger side exhaust pipe. Just under the passenger door location.
There isn't one.
Yes. It has an O2 sensor on the exhaust y-pipe.
The OS sensor on a 98 Acura 3.2 TL is located in the exhaust manifold. It constantly monitors the amount of oxygen remaining in the exhaust gases.
There isn't one.
The upstream O2 sensor is mounted in the ehxaust manifold The downstream O2 sensor is mounted in the exhaust pipe after the catalytic converter
There are 4, one before and one after each catalytic converter in the exhaust.
the exhaust, where every o2 sensor is
No it is not. The mass air flow sensor measures the amount of air coming into the engine. the O2 sensor measures the amount of oxygen after combustion. The mass airflow sensor is located in the air intake and the O2 sensor is located in the exhaust.
Answer I found this great site about Nissan O2 and its location to fix with diagrams!
2. one in the rear exhaust manifold, the other in the middle of the catalytic converter.
