The first OBD regulation in the United States, which required manufacturers to monitor some of the emission control components were installed on all 1991 and newer vehicles sold in California. The last year of the E30 was 1991 i believe..... So if you don't have a 91'...... you dont have a OBD!!!! But there is a check service connecter towards the front of your engine on the drivers side right next to your intake manifold, just remove the cap!! AT
The 1995 Ford Escort OBD connection is located on the right hand side of the engine. The OBD connection will be on the air intake manifold.
OBD connection is usually under the dashboard to the left of the steering column.
There is no OBD II connection on a 1994. It's only on 1996 vehcles and up. 1994 would be OBD I.

The OBD connector is located under the center console on the passenger side. It is OBD-II although not fully compliant.
