It is a Saab 1.9tid vector sport
On a 2002 Saab 9-5 it is by the oil pan.. Look under the front of the car and you should see it.

The engine oil capacity of a Saab 9-3 is 5 quarts. This includes a small amount of oil stored in the oil filter during replacement.
on my saab i use a ph8a ford filter which is longer letting me use 1 liter more oil. tg8a is the new filter that does the same. same as napa1515 which also is a longer filter that fits my saab and replaces the tiny one
Driver's side, rear of engine. Between the oil dip & the coolant tank.

Remove oil sump plug, drain oil. Replace oil filter. Replace oil sump plug. Refil with Mobil 1 oil

get a hanyes manual lol take bottom plate off, drain oil, the oil filter is located behind the gearbox. replace it, filler er to the brim wi oil again! lol :P
The oil filter is in a container with about a one and one half inch hex nut top. The filter is paper. Remove the engine cover and you will find it in the front right part of the engine. Just to the left bottom of the battery.
6 quarts, per the manual. It takes a cartridge filter, not a cannister like most other cars.
