look under right behind front bumper is a splash pan there should ba a access door in splash pan believe its marked filter access
The fuel filter is located in the frame rail on the driver side at the back of the cab
It is inside the transmission pan.
Fwd left hand corner of the engine (3.7l) , and has a drain gully..
The fuel filter is on the drivers side in front of the rear wheel along the frame.
on a 1998 it is located under compressor r/f fwd wheel well

to put a 99 fwd in low you must put the truck in neutral then ingage the transfer fo fwd low if the transmission is not in neutral in most vehicles it will not allow fwd low to be used

The oil pan on the transmission would have to be removed to service the filter. Some transmissions (or transaxles if front wheel drive - FWD)have a screw type filter that looks like the oil filter for an engine. The screw type is located on the exterior of the unit for easier identification.
