As for location, the first responder is right AnswerAnd yes, you can miss it , it trys to be hidden by the plastic trim , you have to look back towards the tire once ur under there.please secure the car safely , those things arent 4 inches off the ground and most of us are more then 4 inch thick! AnswerYou can definitely miss it. Looked for about a day for it. It is about 3 inches away from the Passenger Wheel Well. Its pretty much surrounded by plastic trim, and essentially not near any other part of the engine. This is at least how it appears from underneath. Its pretty hard to see it from the top too. Impt note on finding it- the oil filter faces up, in otherwords the filter/ connection point will be facing up and will attach that way. so be looking for the circular colored part of the filter... good luck, Godspeed, be safe
