It's alright, I managed to find it, It's just above the oil sump, in case anyone else is having this problem.
On the back of the engine under the carby. Easiest to get at from underneath.
It is located on the inside of the fuel tank, and will never need servicing!
Fuel filter\regulator is on top of the fuel pump. It does not need regular servicing.
The fuel filter for your Santafe is located in the fuel tank. Hope this answers your question on this subject.
Try servicing the air filter.
Depends on the vehicle in question. Follow the fuel line from the tank to the engine. If you find no filter then it has a permanent filter located in the tank.
I'm the one who asked this question, I now know the answer. It is located in side the fuel tank. The 2005 sebring doesn't have an external fuel filter.
The fuel filter is located just forward of the passenger side rear tire. You need a special tool to remove it once you've located it. It can be bought from just about any automotive store for under 20 bucks!
It's on the passager side of the motor above the starter and just left of the oil filter as your facing it. I'm pretty sure that it's under pressure so you should read a repair manual and follow instruction's for servicing for your safety!
I see this question all the time. People the fuel filter is always located between the fuel tank and the engine. Get down under the car and start at the fuel tank. Follow the fuel line forward. You will find the filter. There are a few exceptions, as in a Dodge Neon, which has the filter located in the fuel tank.
On some Dodge Neons it is located on the right side of the car, around the front of the fenderwell, but under the car. Its a silver dome about 2.5 inchs round with a single plastic hose coming off it. On some others the fuel filter is located in the gas tank and usually doesn't need servicing unless your changing the fuel pump.
Use 5w20 weight. The brand you use is a personnel choice. I have used Pennzoil in all my Honda autos ever since 1989 when I bought my first one. I have never had an internal engine problem. Chang the oil and filter every 5,000 miles and use a quality filter such as Wix, or Purolator. Change the air filter every 30,000 miles.
