There are two sensors between the turbo and the oil filter the one with One wire is the oil pressure sensor (red and white wire) the only thing this sensor does is when 5 psi of oil is created in the system is closes the contacts in the switch and tells the instrument cluster to move the oil pressure gauge to the normal range.
