For a Liberty 3.7L engine, the Intake Manifold Air Temperature (IAT) sensor is installed into the left side of intake manifold plenum. Prior to removing this, ensure to clean around the unit so dirt doesn't fall into the opening. Removal is about 1/4 counterclockwise turn.

The oil sending unit on a 2002 wrx subaru is almost under the alternator. I suggest you remove the alternator and it is easier to remove the oil sending unit.
In the fuel tank
Specifically what Model and year of Jeep are you working on ? The process will vary based on your make and model of JEEP, but the fuel sending unit is located inside the gas tank and in most cases replacement requires removal of the gas tank from the Jeep.
The oil sending unit is located on the back side of the engine on a 2002 Lancer. It is under the intake manifold.
