It is just above the oil filter on the driver side of the engine.
On top of the divers side of the engine, toward the rear of the engine. Next to the valve cover. There will be a wire running from the wire loom to the sending unit.

On my 1990 its on the lower side of the engine block behind the ALt (it has a single green wire)
It's a 30 dollar part. The unit should be located near the filter. Unplug/Unscrew the old one and insert new and plug in.

The engine oil sending unit on your Dodge 2.7 liter engine is located in the bottom of the engine. The oil sending unit can be accessed by removing the oil pan.
Remove the oil pressure sending unit retaining ring. Remove the wiring harness from the sending unit. Poll the sending unit out of the engine.
