Hi
Your output speed sensor is on the left of the gearbox right at the back it has two wires coming out of it.
no the primary one is the one closest to the engine
well on a 93 exploirer the speed sensor plugs intot he back of the transfer case. dunno if that helps
Vehicle speed sensor is located on top of the differential on the transmission. Access is from under the car
It reads of the 2 transmission output shaft or the 4wd transfer case output shaft. Basically it reads how fast the output shaft is moving and sends that reading to the computer and the computer sends it to the speedometer. Without it the speedometer doesn't work.
The 1993 Lincoln Mark VIII ABS speed sensor is located on the side of the transmission. The speed sensor should be labeled as such.
Did yOu ever find the speed sensor? What was the problem befor changing it
The speed sensor is in the side of the transmission. This is an easy change, usually requiring only a pair of pliers.
Depends on year to 93 there are 2. 94 and later there are 3 (one post cat)
the speed sensor is on the transmission i aso know you can adjust the speed reading according to tire/rim size or different rear-end gears with a hypertech power programmer.
Yes it can..do a diagnostic
Take it to the dealer
In the back end of the transmission where the speedometer cable used to go.
