There is a plastic box mounted to the top center of the engine, right above the water pump. Follow the hoses from the radiator back and you'll see it. You must disassemble this box to get to the thermostat. NOTE: coolant can be VERY VERY hot. Wait overnight before replacing, also note the direction of the thermostat before removing to ensure proper operation after replacement.
