Ther are two located on the 3.8 One is located at the top of the downpipe. Look down from the drivers side behind the tranny dipstick, it is sitting right on top just before the bolt on bracket for the downpipe.It's right next to the spark plug in the back, on the drivers side. If you change your spark plugs, you can't miss it. The other one is located at the "U" bend adjacent to the catylitic converter. Stick with an factory O2 sensor. Bosch dont seem to last very long with this engine for some reason. Also this item should be covered under the emissions warranty (which is 5 to 7 years). If so, have the dealer trace the problem. As far as I know, there are 4 oxygen sensors on a 2001 Hyundai Santa Fe. 1 upstream sensor and 1 downstream sensor located in the front manifold/exhaust and 1 upstream and 1 downstream sensor located in the rear manifold/exhaust.

The 4.7L 2002 dodge durango has 4 O2 sensors. ref. the o2sensor(oxygen sensor)is on the exhaust if i recall right. There are (2) oxygen sensors on the 2001 Dodge caravan (in this case Sport / SE edition) One is accesable under the hood the other is down in the exaust array past the catalytic converter. If your error message is showing that your heating element is out in the O2 sensor... its the front sensor.
