AnswerThe power steering top up tank is unbelieveably located under the battery. You have to take the battery out and the battery compartment and disconnect some ducting to get at it, which probably why some servicers don't bother to check it, resulting in expensive problems later.John
it is located at the transmision box below,, remove a plastic tap and replaceoil using a long skinny funnel
it's under the battery - you can just see it poking out at the front side of the battery. you really need to move the battery to give you enough room to unscrew it.the power steering design is unusual so make sure you know what you are doing-the pump is expensive!

That depends on the year, make, model, etc. Some vehicles do use ATF as the power steering fluid, others do not. That depends on the year, make, model, etc. Some vehicles do use ATF as the power steering fluid, others do not.
power steering fluid
That depends on whether it has power steering or not. And whether it has and orignal power steering unit with a remote resevior or a late model 605 five power steering pump with the resevior at the pump. If it has a resevior that is where the fluid goes. No resevior no fluid needed
Important to refer to your vehicle manual, what kind of power steering fluid need to use this model.
On some vehicles, yes. Check the spec for the specific model though.
Dexron II is the recommended fluid for this model.
Standard fluid should work, although we could be more accurate if I knew which model vehicle it is.
