The Chevrolet water pump bolts do need a sealant. Thread tape can be used on the bolts in the place of a sealant.

the fuel pump is located under the fuel lid remove the lid and you will see a square plate with bolts remove bolts and pump sender comes out change pump then reassemble
Remove serpentine belt, alternator, and power steering pump. Remove 4 water pump pulley bolts. Remove water pump housing bolts. Remove water pump.
The steering pump is attached with 2 bolts. If you take the top bolt out and loosen the bottom bolt until it's almost completely out, you can move the pump/pulley enough to snake that bottom left water pump bolt out.
There are access holes in the power steering pump pulley which allow the 13mm bolts that fasten the pump to the tensioner plate to be removed. Once these bolts are out the pump can be swung out. This also unblocks one of the tensioner plate bolts-- if replacement of the tensioner plate is necessary.
