how do I bleed the clutch system in a 2004 ford ranger
It should be on the bell housing above the hydrolic hose, mine had a rubber cap covering it.
You will not believe this... It is right in front of the battery, between the Radiator and the headlight. It has one screw that holds it on. Take the battery out, remove the screw and then pull it our... take the harness off after you get it out.
what type of radiator fluid does a 2000 ford ranger take?
If there are no schrader valves to bleed the system, remove the radiator cap, make sure the radiator is full of coolant, turn the heater controls to HOT, start the engine, watch for air bubbles escaping, keep the radiator full, and when you see no more air bubbles escaping, replace the cap. The system is now bled.
driverside @ bottom of radiator . there will be a screw that has a (+)cut out in the middle . get a big flathead screw driver and turn
what should i use to fix a small crack on top of radiator. on a 1998 ford ranger what should i use to fix a small crack on top of radiator. on a 1998 ford ranger
On a 2000 Ford Ranger : With the engine cold the radiator should be filled to the seat for the radiator cap and the engine coolant reservoir should be filled to the cold mark
looking at the motor, its on the right side of the radiator at the bottom
There is a threaded plug at the base of the radiator. Screw it out CC and take the cap off of the radiator.
The bleed valve is located on the drivers side of the bell housing.
Does not have one. Just a reservoir.
The air conditioning condensor
At the BOTTOM of the radiator on the drivers side. OR just take the bottom hose off at the radiator.
On a 2003 Ford Ranger : Since you are asking this question I assume you have the 2.3L Dual Over Head Cam four cylinder engine . In this case the thread on cap on the engine coolant reservoir is your pressure cap / radiator cap The 3.0L and 4.0L V6 engines have the radiator cap on top of the radiator
The coolant capacity of the Ford Ranger is dependent on model year and engine type. The latest model year of the Ford Ranger was 2011. The 2011 Ranger with the 4. 0L V6 and the automatic transmission had a coolant service fill of 13. 2 quarts.
The type of vehicle is not important, but if brake pressure is failing, you need to bleed ALL the brakes.
pull the petcock on the bottom of the radiator. it's either on the feft or the right bottom
There's a drain plug on the bottom passenger side of the radiator. Unscrew it and the coolant will drain.
ANSWER: On the lower left side of the Radiator (passenger side).
If your truck is overheating!!! Then check the upper radiator and lower radiator hose's , if the lower is cooler the the upper the either the thermostat is not opening or the radiator is clogged
If It is the factory res, then it should be screw off.
it goes into your radiator, and then through your cooling system
the ford site says 14.2 for a 3.0L 6cyl
