The oil filter on a 2002 VW Polo is located on the bottom, right side of the engine. It is designed to be readily removed with a filter wrench from under the vehicle.
The fuse box on a 1988 VW Polo is located under the dash, near the hood release. It contains most of the important fuses for the vehicle's electrical systems.
The oil filter is at the lower front of the engine. Facing the radiator and just under some hoses. Accessible from top or bottom.
The radiator is located beneathe a plastic cover in front of the engine, between the headlight housings. Follow the upper radiator hose to locate it.

Old classic VW Beetles did not have a water filled radiator, however they did have a oil cooler located in the fan shroud that is similar to a radiator. New Beetles have a water filled radiator.
