Depending on engine the solenoid is located on the either the firewall or the starter. You can usually follow the neg. battery cable (black) to it. Be sure to disconnect battery when changing this part. It is in the starter.

If it's like my 1978 it's just in front of the battery bolted to the chassis at about the same height as the battery. You need to pull out the battery to get to it.
The power distribution box should be in the engine compartment near the battery

The battery is located in the boot under the carpet in a pocket to the side, remove the negative battery terminal first. This is your "ground." Once you have released it, the battery is essentially dead. Hope this helps, B Paice
