I've had this problem many times before, there is no relay for the trunk lock release, the release itself is mounted right behind the trunk keyhole, actually has a shaft that goes through the lock itself, back to the electric release mechanism. You may want to look for a blown fuse, might get lucky, but most of the time the release itself is either wornout, or if you knowwhat your doin, and can get the trunk open, (big if), like with the key, pull the lock release out and grease up the moving parts, or just get another release from the parts store, or a junkyard if you can find another that still works. Most bind or just plain wear out after time and use. No key means you may have to have a locksmith make a key, or buy another lock, and drill the center out of the old one, stick a screwdriver in there, open it, replace the lock, repair the mechanism. One of those things were you knew it was goin bad, should have fixed it before it wen't bad, a sticky or a weak release is a bad sign. jr

Hi, I dropped an 6.2 diesel in my caprice classic built 1981. Since the 6.5 is the same engine size it would be possible. The only problem might be the turbo. It's all kind of tight in the bay.
SOme 92 Caprice cars came with wheel covers other had aluminum rims.
