You start the car first then there is a button on the dashboard next to the steering wheel hit that and it'll enable the seat belt charm.
Well, I have a "90 Legacy. There is a red release button on the belt fastener riding the rail. release it and see if the fastener doesn't return to top or bottom. I'm not sure what causes this, but the above fix works for me. Just reconnect the belt (it only goes one way) and get on with your life. Hope this helps.
Press the red button at the side of the seat. You can then open the door and leave the car.
If the seat belt on your Dodge Stratus is stuck, you can release it by trying to pull it gently. This should allow the belt to release itself from the compartment and if it does not happen, you should contact a professional so as not to mess up the belt.Ê
Depends on what the problem is. Either the belt is twisted, pinched in the teeth or the door jamb release button is damaged. Take off the plastic housing and first check the release button. A simple flat-head to push the release inward away from the door. This should free up the wheel to clear up the jamb.
iv just done it on my 04 mondeo didn't mean to it just happened i was pushing the red button on it and it stopped so all i can say is play with the red button on the seat belt
There should be a button on the top of the seat near where the shoulder belt comes down the seat. If that doesn't release the seats check in the trunk that the lock hasn't been switched to the locked position.
I was told that in the Expedition 2004 you can push the belt release button when the chime is going off and that stops it until the door is opened the engine is turned off. Good Luck
