where is the fuse for 06 chevy cobalt windshild wiper
to my knowledge there is no fuel shut off switch like those in the fords. It would be either a relay of fuse.

Right side of the radio
The remote wire requires a 12 volt power source that comes on with the car. The easiest thing to do is to wire it into the fuse box...coordinate with the diagram to find a fuse that comes on when you start the car or turn the key to accessory, such as turn signals, windshield wipers, etc.... Pull that fuse out, put the bare wire into where the fuse goes and secure it with the fuse.
Yes, there is a remote fob fuse, and the guide to the fuses is on the fuse box door. However, the reason the remote didn't work in the first place had nothing to do with dead batteries or fuses. The remote fob needed to be "reset," directions for which are hidden deep inside the owners' manual.
There are two fuse panels, one behind the kick panel underneath the dash, just on the right side of the center console. Just pull it off, you'll see the little fuse symbol beneath the vent on the panel. The other is under the hood, in the engine compartment.
