Usually on the bottom of the seat.
There should be a model and serial number plate or sticker located either on the frame or under the seat. The engine also has a serial number and model on he base of the engine .

First look and see if the decals are still on the hood of the riding mower, if they are there those are the number of your mower. If the hood and/or the decals are missing then you need to find the serial number, which is located either directly under the steering column, at the back on the rear axle, or near the front on the side frame.Once you have located your serial number, look at the number. It should begin with the Prefix M00 and then the model number of the machine. For example if you find this serial number (M00318X222001) you would have a John Deere 318. Hope this helps.
Most Craftsman have the tag under the seat near the rear of the top plate.
Quality Farm riding mowers were made by Frigidaire(now AYP) but were made by MTD. If you Google the serial number located under the seat or under the hood you will likely discover more information.
You have given the serial number rather than the model number. Perhaps MTD could answer that, but I doubt anyone else could.
Usually, the higher the number, the higher the grass will be cut. The higher of which number? If you have a riding mower, the numbers will be on the slot where the the lever for the blades is located. If you have a regular push mower, there will be no numbers. In that case, the higher slot that you use will mean a shorter cut of the grass. Okay, what and where is the slot located?
If it is a riding mower it may have a blown fuse. They are usually located near the solenoid.
I found the label to be on the mower bed on the left, looking at the mower from the handle side, and just past the engine. Model number was damaged but the Serial number was clear. The name of the Mfg was McDonough Power Equipment Co.

The safety switch to start the motor on a Ranchking riding mower is located in the ignition. If the clutch needs to be depressed several times before the mower will start, there might be a problem with the adjustment of the clutch.
