The spark plug gap for a Polaris Indy 500 should be set between .025 and .028 inches. A new spark plug should need no adjustments as they come preset from the factory.

Directly under the fuel tank.....have fun...
it is located under the gas tank. once you remove the tank you will see a spark arrester pull that our and look down into where it was and you will see your spark plug
To change a spark plug you need to take off the seat and the side panel on the right side. After you do this the spark plug will be in front of the carb and on top of the engine block.
Take the seat off , then the right side cover . The spark plug will be behind the ground cable on top of the motor . Should be a special spark plug tool in your tool kit .
thinkin its about .028 in or .7mm. should be written on the inside of the hood somewheres
under the front rack.
on top up engine. below fuel tank. usually has red rubber cover.
Its in the top of the head. You have to reach up between the gas tank and head and feel for the plug wire. pull the spark plug cap and its down a couple inches. use the factory wrench to get to it. Its a pain.
