It is down on the bottom right side of the engine. Disconnect Negative battery cable. Remove the 2 bolts/nuts and cable holding starter on engine block, take it out. Might help to put it up on jack stands to get room to work. install in reverse order.

The starter relay is located on the battery side of the engine compartment on a 2002 F150 pick up truck. It is on the firewall close to the battery.
Starter is on the passenger side, bottom of engine going in to bell housing. Remove battery cables(ground side first) 3 bolts hold starter on. 2 wires attached to the end of the starter. reinstall in reverse.
The starter is located on the passenger side of the engine (underneath engine) above the exhaust pipes. Check the small plug on wire to the solenoid make sure it has a good connection.I have found that wire to be a problem 9 out of 10 times.

Make sure the relay is supplying the 12 volts to the starter - if so remove the starter and go get a rebuilt on to replace it or learn how to repair it yourself.
