The Starter is located right under the intake manifold on the left side.. pretty hard to get to...
The starter is located on the passenger side of the block, kind of hard to reach and a pain to remove.
the starter it's self is about $100 it's not to hard to replace just under the breather at the front of the engine

The Starter Motor Is Located Under The Intake Manifold, You Have To Remove A Bunch Of Stuff To Remove The Manifold To Get To The Starter, It Is A Small Gear Reduction Starter. Not Hard To Replace At That Point. But A Lot Of Trouble To Get To. I Recommend You Take It To A Good Garrage. Expect To Pay A Pretty High Price Also. Considering The Labor Involved. GOD BLESS
Remove - battery cable Raise and support vehicle Remove wiring at top of starter Remove starter mounting bolts Remove starter
It's your starter solenoid. Toys are hard to replace just the solenoid. replace the starter!!!!!
this is crazy as hell but,the starter is under the intake manifold directly in the center of the motor.so remove intake manifold and then remove and replace starter.not hard ,just time consuming.
starter may be going out, may need to replace your battery.
It is a relatively easy job to replace your speakers depending on where they are located.
You have to remove that starter through the top of the engine compartment PLEASE BE PATIENT It's not that hard.... but you get dirty because it's in a hard to reach spot. You will neeed to have a range of extentions with the wobble feature or a universal joint.
NO. it is not inside the engine. 2 bolts will release it from flywheel. Follow positive battert cable to starter.
The starter is hard to get at under the fuel lines and junk on the drivers side of the engine compartment. I had mine done by a mechanic because it was to difficult for me to get at.
The starter is hidden under the throttle body. Also very hard to get to, not to mention hard to see. I'd recommend having a professional do the dirty work.
The started on a 1996 Chevy S10 4 cylinder is located under the battery and to the right. With the right tools and time it is not hard to replace.Ê
Disconnect the negative on the battery. Then jack the truck up & unbolt positive & negative wires to starter. Then unbolt starter from truck. Not hard to do at all
I have a 1990 pathfinder and just changed the starter 3 days ago. It was pretty simple but i had to remove the oil filter to get it out and it was still hard to get out.
I have a 1996 Z71 with a vortec 350. It has a new battery and starter but turns over very hard. I can get it to start with a jump but not without. What am I overlooking?
1. Remove the negative battery cable. 2. Remove wires on the starter. 3. Remove the two mounting bolts. They have 15mm heads. (The top bolt is hidden and hard to get to.) You may have to remove the solenoid (on top of the starter) to get to it. 4. Remove starter Replacement is the opposite of the removal.
The starter can be seen from under the car and is located just in front of the oil pan and the nose of it more to the drivers side of the motor (edge of the motor and transmission). It has a round motor you will see and two wires will be bolted on to it. It is not hard to change just disconnect your battery fist, remove the nuts that hold the wires on and there are two bolt that hold the starter on to the engine. One is at the bottom of the starter and the other is up the side towards the front of the car (both on the nose of the starter)
