The starter is located under the car, passenger side, near the oil pan. It is awkward to remove. You may have to turn the wheels to remove if from the steering mechanism that complicates it's removal. I'd rather pay to have it done.
According to one of Fords websites : For a 1973 Lincoln Mark IV , 7.5 liter / 460 cubic inch V8 engine : ( the spark plugs are gapped at .035 inch )

1976 Lincoln Continental Mark IV Bill Blass Edition total production: 3213 pcs. Assembly plant: Wixom, Michigan, USA
Under the dash by the emergency brake
No, the Mark IV was the last 2 door Mark to have rear windows that rolled down, or back actually. The Mark III and Mark IV rear windolws went backwards into the roof rather than down into the the quarter panel.
To my knowledge, the Mark IV only came with the 460 engine.
Inside of the gear house for the powerwindowmotor there are some plastic-gears that probably has lost it teeth's. :) It is impossible to repair unless you happens to have a huge machine park in your garage... Replacement parts should be available at your local Lincoln partspusher...
The Harvard Mark IV had about 4000 tubes.
You can look for it on ebay. Some of the sellers have their own market so look also at sellers store.
autozone.com shows DOT 3 or 4 ( I would use 3 )
A person can get a wiring diagram for this vehicle in the maintenance manual. It can also be found in this cars repair manual.
