In an automatic Eclipse, the transmission filter is located inside of the transmission. To change the filter, the entire transmission must be disassembled to reach it.
it would be in the back midright of the motor its hard to describe but its slanted to the right.
The Engine Control Module (manual transmission), also known as PCM Powertrain COntrol Module (automatic transmission), is located interior under the glove box.
The automatic transmission temperature sensor, on your 1990 Mitsubishi, is located on the top of the transmission. The sensor will have to electrical wires going to it.

Ur gonna need a funnel, and it goes thru the transmission dipstick located near the air filter sensor, left of the engine.
if its an automatic then you fill it from the dipstick. It should have a red handle and be located on the drivers side of the vehicle. If it is manual you have to get under the car and there is a plug on the top of the tranny

it is located in the fuse box (under the hood), if you flip the fuse box cap you will see the diagram that signals the location of every fuse in it. The automatic transmission control relay is labeled AT in such diagram. It is a black sort of rectangular shaped relay.

Get on the passenger side of the car, and look behind the center divide. It is located underneath the car stereo.
