In a 1998 Ford Contour :
In the passenger compartment fuse panel :
( # 24 is a 15 amp , light blue color fuse , for the brake lamps )
There is no separate fuse on that light. It's probably the bulb.
The fuse for the dome light and clock, etc. is in the fuse block under the hood on the driver's side. It is a 7.5 amp fuse towards the front of the fuse block. Look at the inside fuse block cover for location. Hope this helps.
yes
You likely have a frayed wire to the stop light.
Should be the same as the stop light fuse
under hood fuse box there is a 60 amp fuse labeled abs remove it and the abs will not work and the abs light will come on in the dash but you will be able to stop now
check stop light
Forget the fuse. Maintain your engine.
Worn out gear. You need a mechanic !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
got the same exact problem.
The fuse diagram of a 1992 Toyota Camry lists the stop light fuse as 15A. It is located in the first row from the left the first 15A.
check light bulbs, check stop light fuse, check stop light switch
