It is in the center bottom of the bike. The plastic pan has a hole in it and the plug is right there. You can take out the (6) 10mm head bolts to remove the whole pan if you prefer. The plug is a 21 or 22 mm.
The drain plug on my 06 vinson is 17mm, I would guess they haven't changed since 03. Hope this helps.

Remove the Suzuki 450 oil pan plug. Allow the oil to drain out of the oil pan. Replace the plug to the oil pan. Fill the motor with oil.
The Suzuki oil drain plug torque specification is 30 pounds. Over tightening the oil drain plug can cause the oil pan threads to strip.
In my 02 vinson i get around 20 mpg
To change the oil, you should first buy 4 or 5 quarts of oil. Unscrew the oil pan and drain the oil. Then, change the oil filter and refill the system with oil.
Look on the what would be passenger side of the quad towards the bottom/side of the engine.. There is a little clear glass viewing area where the oil is..
Look for arcing from the plug wire, if the wire is bad the spark will jump to the easiest path to ground, skippjing the plug completely.
it is the only one on the oil pan.
