pin 48 on the pcm connecter is tach signal connect to your green wire from tach
There are 3 (maybe4) wires on your tachometer. One +, one - and one gives the signal to the rpm. You must connect this third wire to the ECM (ECU) rpm outlet (White wire) or directly to the ignition coils negative wire (blue - yellow) If there is a fourth wire on the rpm, that is the backlight. Connect it to the dashboards backlight system. Good luck.
Green wire on the distributor is the tachometer pick up. Green wire on the distributor is the tachometer pick up.
I think you can by attaching it to you spark plug wire
A haynes manual will have that. Find at your local auto parts store.
Use an inductive pickup on plug-wire #1, and connected to tachometer located in vehicle.
Black wire to ground, red to batt, white to instrument lamps and green goes to PCM white wire with pink stripe!
Corrosion on trigger wire at starter
The tachometer on a 1991 Acura Integra is wired through the dash. To reach the wiring remove the dash console and pull out the tachometer. There the wiring can be worked on using a spark tester to find the bad wire and solder unit to replace the wire.
this depends on the year, that will determine the type of ignition and the conection.
On the 88 jeep the trigger wire at the tach is blue.
the green is the signal wire and it goes to the negative side of the ignition coil
The blue wire is usually just an auxiliary wire. The blue wire does not need to be connected. Tape the end of the blue wire off.
More than Likely its a coroded connector at the sensor.
