The coolant fan switch is located on the intake manifold near the thermostat. The fan should come on about 232 to 235 degrees and turn of at or near 195 degrees. Check on rear of radiator near top--should be plug with two wires

I do believe that the oil sensor in a 1996 Jaguar tells you how much oil you have and it tells you the oil temperature.

The ECT or the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor is a switch. This switch is located on the bottom of the radiator in the 1996 Camry.
That would depend on which temeprature sensor you are asking about. Is it the coolant temperature sensor or the air charge tenerature sensor you are asking about?
The sensor is threaded into the coolant passage in the back of the cylinder head.
in the gas tank, it is part of the fuel level sensor
driver side of the car underneath the engine just barely on the header pipe
