On the 4.7L it is under the housing where the lower radiator hose attaches to the engine. On all other engines it is under the housing where the upper radiator hose attaches.

follow the upper radiator hose from the radiator to the engine. When you get to the end of the hose, that is the thermostat housing. remove it and the thermostat will be in there.
