it is on the fron of the intake where the top radiator hose goes u take the hose of then there will e 2 bolts holding the thermostat housing(thing that the hose goes to) on take them off and u will find the thermostat
AnswerI am pretty sure the thermostat is at the end of the upper rad hose where it enters the top of the engine. At 14 I worked a summer job at an autowreckers, at 15 I tore motors of all kinds apart with a friend of my moms and I rebuilt my first Chevy smallblock, a 283 c.i. when I was 16, now at 45 and with many many Chevy's under my belt as far as I know gm has almost always located its thermostats in this area. two bolts and pop the housing should be a simple answer.
