mounted on the side under the throttle body. Just follow the upper radiator hose (on driver side) to the thermostat housing. Kinda hard to get to, so make sure you remove as much as possible to get to it
Follow the upper radiator hose bacx to where it goes into the top of the motor. The flange there houses the thermostat.

It is normally where the upper radiator hose meets the engine block.
The 1984 Chevrolet Monte Carlo starter can be found on the right hand side of the engine. The starter will be near the back of the engine.
just follow the top radiator hose to the engine and where it clamps on you will find the thermostat, 2 bolts takes the housing off and the thermostat is under it.
Follow the top radiator hose down to the water outlet on the engine. It is in the water outlet.
Where upper rad hose meets engine, there should be some kind of gooseneck-under there.
As you are facing the engine looking under the hood, it is on the right side, under the throttle body, inside the thermostat housing. It (the thermostat housing) is a cast metal tube with a thick rubber hose running to it.
Drain the radiator into a container. Follow the upper radiator hose to the engine. there you will find the thermostat housing. Remove the housing and the thermostat. Clean the surfaces and install the new thermostat and hose. top off the radiator.jd
Under the thermostat
The 1995 Chevrolet Monte Carlo cooling fan sensors are located on the firewall, in the engine compartment. The cooling fan sensors will be on the passenger side of the firewall.
