follow the upper radiator hose to the intake manifold from the radiator, the little bubble shaped housing is where the thermostat is. remove the hose and you should be able to see it. is is a real pain in the a** to get the bolts out on the newer models. especially the 4.2. this is the easiest way to locate the thermostat on any vehicle with a few exceptions of course.
