Follow the top radiator hose to the motor...the hose will attatch to a cover. Underneath that cover is the thermostat. When you change it, make sure the old gasket is cleaned off the motor and thermostat housing, make sure the spring on the thermostat going down into the motor, don't overtighten the bolts and make sure the system is bled of air.
AnswerFollow the upper radiator hose down to the engine. It is attachedto the thermostat housing . Therewill be two bolts attaching the housing to the engine. Remove thesebolts, and with a little effort (prying),the housing will come off. Therewill probably be brackets, wires,or other items which will have Tobe removed in order to get to the bolts.Installation is just the reverse, and be careful you don't get the bolts tootight.Wiki User
