The throttle position sensor is on the side of the throttle body
On the 4.0 L - OHV - V6 , you can see it from the drivers side when you look at the
engine , its near the top of the engine where the " plastic " intake manifold is
and near the front of the engine

Yes it does. It reaches from the gas pedal to the throttle body on your intake.
The 1996 Ford Explorer overdrive sensor can be found on the right hand side of the transmission. The overdrive sensor will be near the front of the transmission.

The Tps is located on the left hand side of the throttle body right were the intake tube and throttle body meet
IT should be in the air duct going to the throttle bore.
