Costs about £18 from ford dealer.
You will have to call a parts store for the price. I have a Chev car and it was $18 and I have a Chev truck and the sensor was $ 100.
Check the earth on your inlet manifold. The pick-up is part & parcel of the engin "KNOCK SENSOR"!

The speed sensor for a 1990 Cadillac Deville is located on the side of the transmission. Look for a 2 wire plug with 18 gauge wire.
The pump cover has 2 sensors. Lower sensor on side is sub technology sensor. On top is main sensor. Yes they go bad just replace.

it is fuse number 18 in the fuse box under the hood its a amp 10 fuse

it's on top of the engine close to where the thermostat is.it does have two wires 18 or 20 ga.
