The 2001 Chevy Blazer vacuum switch solenoid can be found on the firewall in the engine compartment. The vacuum switch solenoid will be on the passenger side of the firewall.
When this happened to me it was the three vacuum hoses on the transfer case switch were on wrong. There is a nipple on the switch and a hole in the vacuum hoses.
The vacuum switch/actuator for the fan shutter is under the dash directly below the radio . IT is NOT easy to get to.
I need a diagram for the 1991 Chevy blazer to see where the 3 hoses go to coming off the transfer case.
Un hook the electric conector on top of switch and screew it out with a wrench. EASY JOB
