It is bolted to the back of the transmission and the driveshaft slides into the transfur case and bolts to the rear end.
It is screewed into the transfur case.
If it is a 4X4 then it will be in the tail shaft housing on the transfur case. If it's not a 4x4 then it will be in the transmission tailshaft housing.
The drive line is the transmission,rear ends,driveshafts, transfur case and axels.
If it is a 4-wheel drive then it is screewed into the transfur case, if it's not then it will be on the transmission tail shaft.
It is screewed into the top rear of the transfur case.
Look up under your truck at the rear end and you will see a long medal round shaft / drive shaft that's hooked to the rear end and goes towards the front of the truck and that shaft slides into the back of the transfur case. The transfur case is bolted to the rear of the transmission.
It's bolted in the transmission tail shaft housing if it is a 2-wheel drive. The 4-wheel drives have them in the transfur case tailshaft housing.
It is on the rear side of the transfur case towards the bottom and up higher will be another one to fill it.
If it is a 2-wheel drive then you will find it on the tail shaft on the rear of the transmission. If it is a 4x4 then it is on the rear of the transfur case where the driveshaft goes in to it.
The rear driveshaft slides into the transfur case that is bolted to the rear of the transmission.
The transfur case is hanging on the back of the transmission, The rear driveshaft comes from the rear end and goes into the transfur case.
