It is 27 inches long.
Thru dipstick tube
You should never add transmission fluid to a Chevrolet 350 engine. You can add transmission fluid to the transmission through the transmission dipstick holder.
I'm assuming you mean a Ford F-350, which you fill through the dipstick tube.
It should be on the passenger side back by the firewall.
AnswerAUTOMATIC, Dieselpull the dipstick out it is located near the firewall on the passenger side of the vehicle the tranny must be warm and most of the time in park or netrual.
I think it has 6 cylinders.
350 Engines dont have transmission fluid. The Transmission does. Start the engine, leave the trans in Park, pull the dipstick and look at it. fill to full mark when the engine is fully warned up
You add the fluid down the dipstick tube under the hood.
Most often, the length is 24 inches. I have seen some that are 27 inches though.
You will find whether you have a th350 transmssion or any metric trans , the dipstick will be located on the right side of the vehicle in the rear. Your (left hand side facing the engine) there should be a tube that comes up between the ac unit and the engine on the passenger side. its not going to stick out very far so it might be kind of hidden, but there is only two dipsticks, oil and transmission fluid,(process of elimination)
