The 2001 V6 Eclipse with the Sportronic transmission has a spin-on filter (looks like a small oil filter.) If you get under the tranny you will see it. Usually runs between $10 and $18, for a new one.
where is the camshaft position sensor located on a 2001 mitsubishi eclipse v6
Usually on the V6 Sonata's they are located under the hood. Look to the right of your engine and look down at the transmission itself. There should be a "spin on" filter, kind of like the one for your engine. if not then your filter is located inside the actual transmission.
All of them do.
Transmission filter is usually under the transmission oil pan. If the vehicle does not have a transmission pan then it is probably a "non-serviceable" transmission, and it probably doesn't have a servicable filter.
yes indeed you can, check out www.galantforums.com join the community you can find alot of answers and feel free to ask questions, we're here to help =)
? Not sure, I do not think there is a filter for the automatic or manual. If is it the 3.0 V6 the tranny filter is located inside the tranny(internal filter). Requires disassembly to replace. I just change the fluid every 20,000.
On the bottom of the transmission.
Check the engine codes on both models. I know the parts on the 2.4L 99-03 Galant ES and the Eclipse GS '00-'04 are the same.
The automatic transmission is a version of the CD4E
Gas V6 4.0qts with filter change Diesel 11.0qts with filter change
