thru that tube that holds the dipstick.
You fill transmission with fluid through the transmission fluid dipstic tube
The automatic transmission fluid dipstick is in the engine compartment , near the firewall , just to the passenger side of the engine . The manual transmission fluid level is checked under the vehicle at the transmission fill plug on a 1991 Ford F-250
If you remove the intake hoses, you will see a 17mm bolt on the transmission. More toward the passenger side of the car, that is the fill hole. And just below that will be a 24mm bolt which is the bolt used to remove the transmission fluid.
The fill hole is the dipstick hole itself. You usually need a long funnel to get fluid into it, and it's slow to fill because of this.
