The pump and most of the sensors are inside the transmission
97 dodge intrepid, new fuel pump, won't start
Any 93-97 3.3 or 3.5 transmission will interchange with each other. You may have to change some sensors, I'm not sure if any of those changed, but your bellhousings are the same as with stall speeds, computers, etc.
The only "sensors" on the transmission are the speed sensor at the top in back, and the range switch on the front.
on a 3.5, there are 4. 2 are right after the manifold, and 2 are after the pre-cats.
Fuel pump is located in the gas tank.
The starter solenoid is on the starter. The transmission solenoids are inside the trasnmission.
if your wondering where it is...it's in the gas tank(drivers side rear)
Dodge does not use inertia/reset switches.
No, completely different.No, completely different.
On the 3.5 intrepid engine, the water pump is run by the timing "belt"- no timing chain on this motor. Not sure about the 3.3 motor. On the 3.3L the water pump is driven by the serpentine belt.
3.3L it is serpentine belt driven.
There is only the speed sensor and the range switch.
