The 2006 Chevy Impala water pump can be found on the front of the engine. You can follow the top radiator hose directly to the water pump.
Remove the belt from your 2005 Chevy Impala water pump. Remove the water return hose. Remove the water pump retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new water pump.
Look on you tube to see if there is a video on it.

Probably at the engine end of the upper radiator hose On the 3.5L it's just inboard of the water pump, at the end of the lower radiator hose...
A WATER PUMP ON A CHEVY IMPALA IS ABOUT $20-30 DOLLARS.The cost of installing it should be about 60-80 dollars,i have an 04 impala myself and i had to change mine they usually go bad at about 80,000 miles.
According to the Impala Forum the fuel filter is part of the fuel pump module, and the unit is housed in the gas tank. Filter is replaced when the pump is replaced. Hope this helps. :)
