There is no harness persay. It appears that GM didn't put a plug in these vehicles so there is no plug-n-play harnesses. The wires are up in the dash and have to be spliced to a brake controller. A friend found this and sent it along. It shows the wire location and basic installation process.

For the factory 7 pin wiring harnes, the brake controller wire is located behind the left (drivers side) kick panel by the floor panel. It has a small white tag labeled "brake". You may have to fish around a little bit to locate it, but it is there.

Not all 1500's where built with it. If it is there it will be above the parking brake.
