On a 2000 Lincoln Town Car :
The automatic Transmission Fluid level dipstick is in the engine compartment ,
near the firewall , on the right side ( passenger side ) of the engine
( I believe it is " hidden " by the plastic engine cover )
The 2000 Mazda 626 transmission dipstick is located in the engine compartment, near the firewall. The transmission dipstick will have a bright yellow handle.
I was looking at the 2000 Lincoln LS Owner Guide and it shows that the 5R55N automatic transmission does not have a fluid level dipstick
There is no dipstick for the transmission. To check the transmission you have to open the Transmission Resivior and see the fluid level in there.
On a 2000 Lincoln Town Car : Using a funnel you add automatic transmission fluid through the dipstick tube The tube is located near the firewall , at the rear of the engine ( front of transmission ) on the passenger side of the engine in the engine compartment
If you know where the transmission dipstick is located you use a funnel and pour the transmission fluid into the place where the dipstick came from.
The Transmission dipstick is located on the passengers side next to the firewall it should be red or yellow color dipstick.
Unfortunately there isn't one.
it's located at the bottom of the car, u have to get underneath to see it.
manual trans dont have dip sticks....
you more than likely will not have a dipstick on any manual transmission. most of them do not need fluid that needs regular service.
It's called a "maintenance free" transmission. No dipstick.
The transmission fluid is added down the dipstick tube.
