If this is about the 5.7 engine and tranny then read on. The transmission doesn't require service for the first 100,000 miles. Ask your Toyota service manager. It takes a special procedure to service it. That's why you can't find a tranny dip stick for the 5.7 L engine.
Toyota service recommends an old and oil filter change every 5,000 miles or every 6 months.
Are you asking about the model with the 5.7 L engine? If so you won't even find a transmission dip stick. There is none. It's designed to go 100,000 miles before the first service and even then special tools are needed to service it. If you don't believe me talk to a Toyota service manager and ask him.

It's under the skid plate. But I suggest you talk to a service manager at Toyota first before you attempt the oil change yourself. (IT'S NOT THE SAME AS YOU HAVE DONE IN THE PAST.) You may also want to ask the service manager where the transmission dip stick is located. Be ready for a shock when you find out.

Believe it or not you can not check the transmission oil on a 2007/2008 Tundra with a 5.7 leader engine. It is designed to go 100,000 miles before servicing and IT MUST BY DONE BY THE DEALER. it has to be brought up to a certain temperature and need a special tool to check it. Talk to a Toyota service manager if you don't believe me. I had a conversation with a service manager and he said "You can't believe how many people drain the transmission and then can't figure out how to refill it and have to tow it back here to get it fixed." Also look in your "Owners Manual" and you will not find anything on servicing the transmission by the owner.
