Believe it or not you can not check the transmission oil on a 2007/2008 Tundra with a 5.7 leader engine. It is designed to go 100,000 miles before servicing and IT MUST BY DONE BY THE DEALER. it has to be brought up to a certain temperature and need a special tool to check it. Talk to a Toyota service manager if you don't believe me.
